New to digital scrapbooking? Never downloaded a digital kit before? What in the world are .rar files anyway? Get your answers here: How to Unzip Files So You Can Digi Scrap.
We are in the process of buying our first house, which is so utterly thrilling and exciting. If everything goes smoothly, we will be moving soon and I will be doing a lot of decorating, which will probably pop up on the blog from time to time.
In other house-y type things, I've been admiring some house block quilts lately. I love the funky and fun ones. This one is so cute! Love the fun fabrics in this one! And the spooky Halloween houses in this one (also a tutorial, if you want to learn to piece these. I'm thinking I might have another project on my list).
So, put those together and I have the kit this week. I loved the idea of sending out new address post cards, so I designed one (with a 5X7 aspect ratio, but you can easily crop it down to fit on a smaller card). To get the look I wanted, I had to design a bunch of papers, so those are included here too. I'm very tempted to print out the big one on 12x12 paper and frame it, but I'm restraining myself until I know it will really go with my overall vision for the house's decor. I love the rest of the patterns and I might be doing a full-fledged layout with some of them soon (wouldn't they be perfect for family photos?)
Kit Contents: 13 Pattern Papers, 2 sets of stickers, 1 Postcard template

I recently tried to download this cute scrapbook set. However, it kept taking me back to your blog. Could you please fix the problem? Thanks so much for your creative ideas!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about that; have no idea how it happened. I think I've fixed it. Let me know if you have any other problems or if there are any other broken links. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you so much for the free kit! The papers are just gorgeous and I love the cute little trees and cottages!
ReplyDeleteI've used it to make a couple of cards here on my blog
Thanks again ♥
We just bought our new home and I searched for hours to find something that I liked and this was perfect and even more so that it is free! I am just wondering how the stickers can be used individually? I'm using Creative Memories Storybook so I have to load them in as a jpeg but I have other programs if there is another way. Thanks for the help and the awesome freebie!
ReplyDeleteShirl, if you have Photoshop Elements or any of the Photoshop programs (and probably some other photo editing programs, but Photoshop is the one I know), they are png files, so they have a clear background. When you open them up, they should be easy to move onto your project without a background. Glad you like it and congrats on your new home!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, just what I wanted after ages of searching for new home digi paper, and I can't get over something this good is free.
ReplyDeleteThank you
