Aubrey has one accessory she can't leave home without: her bracelets. She loves these and holds out her arm when I ask her to put one on. She calls them "pretty" and giggles when she gets a new one. She seriously loves them. I love making them for her too. As soon as she gets a new outfit, I'm making her a bracelet to go with it. They are such fun and quick projects, and totally adorable. She gets compliments on them all the time.
Here are a few:
I've started a new blog: Come follow my crafting adventures on my new blog. Find me at: creativeirony.com.
Those are so cute! Do you ever worry about her swallowing the beads? I saw Griffin on HSN! I knew it was yours before I even saw your last post, it was in the American Crafts segment :) - Brandy
WOW! Those are so pretty. I need to get my hands on that book from Michaels and start making Marleigh some bracelets. Thanks for sharing your little(new) tradition!! :) ~CathyJoy(2Peas)
One of my sons went through a period where he had to have his Star Wars watch (courtesy of Burger King) with him at all times. Those bracelets are way cute-er!
I wish you were MY mom! Those are so pretty, no wonder she loves them! When you said here are a few I thought, two maybe three... Where does your talent end? My word, I am awed by you... :D
Brandy--I don't worry about her swallowing the beads, because they are really sturdy. The only thing that has ever happened is the wire loop on the end slipping out of the jump ring, but that still leaves all the beads safely behind the crimp bead. They are small enough that she can't slip them off her wrists. And she's so used to them that she leaves them alone.
So stinkin' cute Kara! I love them! There is a girl in our ward that always has a bracelet to match her baby's outfits as well.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh...the fun of little girls.
Those are darling! Who knows, maybe it will turn out to be her lifelong trademark; wouldn't that be cool?
