I think I might have looked forward to Xander's birthday this year even more than he did. He's finally old enough to really get what was going on and to be excited about things. It was funny because on his birthday, he kept saying, "No, my birthday's formarrow (tomorrow)." By the end of the day though, he was getting that it was his birthday. He was so excited for presents. I made the mistake of letting him pick out a present from his Grandparents Henry 8 days before his birthday. He picked out a Thomas and Friends engine named Henry. Everyday he'd ask me where "my Henry" was. I just about went nuts. He was so excited when he opened it and that train has been everywhere since.
Here's some photos from the big day:
Counting his presents. He gets to 13 and then keeps counting 13. Guess we need to work on those teens.
Opening his Henry.
