A Secret Toot (shhhhhh!)

So, in the scrapbooking publishing world, when you get a call from a magazine and you post about it on a message board, they call it "tooting" for tooting your own horn. Well, I have a really big toot that I'm so excited about. I'm not sure I'm supposed to go spreading it around, but since hardly anyone reads this thing, I think I'm safe. Scrapbook Trends is doing a new idea book called "Fast and Fabulous." Well, they're doing profiles on 5 scrapbookers, including bios and 8 layouts from each and they asked me if I'd be willing to be one of the 5. WILLING? Of course I'm willing! It's a pretty fast deadline, with everything due (including the 8 layouts) on the 14th of this month, but you're supposed to be able to create the layouts in 30 minutes or less. I've got one done and I'm started on the next one. I'm just so excited about this; it's really an honor to be asked.

And as a side note, Xander had a BM in the potty yesterday, even though we're not trying to train him! Maybe he will train himself. ;)
